Repairing Summer Skin

Every summer, we all get a little more sun than we intended. Even though sunscreen is applied, we wear hats and sit in the shade, the sun seems to find us.
Not to worry, there are products and treatments that can help reverse the damage.
One new treatment we have been working with is called Allumera.

It is a topical agent applied before an IPL (FotoFacial) treatment that makes the treatment more intense and effective. Besides helping with pigment on the face, we tried it on Mary's arms and legs to see if it would fade all those bothersome brown spots that show up even worse when we use self tanners.  Her spots are improving and she is one happy girl!!!!!
Smoothing skin texture and improving pore size is another benefit.

The negative is, your face will be red and puffy and you really need to avoid any sun exposure for a few days.

Other options for treating sun damage are available.  Some have similar down time, like Fraxel and some have possibly less, like lighter chemical peels, but may not have quite the result.

Hope this is helpful.
